Pediatric Occupational Therapist

About the Role


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team and provide meaningful, child-centered therapy services. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and a passion for helping families achieve developmental goals. Feeding therapy experience is preferred.


This is an exciting opportunity to provide individualized and group-based therapy in a variety of settings, including our welcoming clinic, client homes, and community environments. You will work alongside a collaborative team of therapists and support staff while helping children and young adults build confidence, independence, and functional skills.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services for children and young adults with developmental, sensory, and physical needs.
  • Evaluate clients and develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with families and the therapy team.
  • Support skill development in areas including:
    • Activities of daily living
    • Sensory processing
    • Fine and gross motor development
    • Feeding skills
    • Functional independence
  • Deliver therapy sessions in clinic, home, and community settings as appropriate.
  • Lead and participate in group programs, including developmental skills groups, therapy groups, and community-based activities.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with families, caregivers, and team members.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality, family-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Pediatric occupational therapy experience required.
  • Feeding therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for play-based, family-centered therapy.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a flexible caseload.
  • Reliable transportation for home and community-based visits.

Qualifications

  • Current New Hampshire licensure as one of the following:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain patient, flexible, and positive in a dynamic environment.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
  • Early Intervention (NH FCESS) experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with mobility or transfers as needed.
  • Comfortable participating in both indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Ability to actively engage with participants through play, movement, and group activities.
