Salem Family Resources

They provide free, voluntary support services to families, focusing on promoting the education, health, and well-being of Salem-area children, particularly those from lower-income and at-risk families. Their programs include early learning services, playgroups, resource and referral services, and parent education/engagement activities. All services are confidential and offered at no cost to families.


Families can self-refer or be referred by community partners at any time.


Serves Salem and surrounding communities in Southern New Hampshire.

The Upper Room Family Resource Center

Located in Derry, NH, The Upper Room is a certified Family Resource Center of Quality (FRC-Q) offering support for families and individuals. Services include parenting classes, youth programs, support for young adults, and resources for kinship care and basic needs.

Families First Health & Support Center

They provide free, voluntary support services to families, combining primary healthcare with family resource programs focused on parenting education, child development, and family well-being. Services include parenting classes, playgroups, mobile health and dental clinics, and referrals to community resources. Families with Medicaid may access integrated health services, but there is no cost for family support programs.

Community Action Partnership of Strafford County Family Resource Center

They provide free, voluntary support services to families, focusing on strengthening families through parenting education, support groups, playgroups, and access to resources like childcare, food assistance, and healthcare referrals. Their programs are designed to empower parents and caregivers and improve child well-being. There is no cost to families for any services.


Families can self-refer or be referred by community partners at any time.


Serves Dover, Rochester, and the greater Strafford County area.

Waypoint’s Family Resource Centers

They provide free, voluntary support services to families, focusing on working directly with parents to help achieve their goals. If a child has Medicaid, they bill Medicaid for the first 3 hours of service, but there is no cost to families for any of their programs.


They also offer parenting education classes at no charge, along with other valuable resources.

Families can be referred by community partners or can self-refer at any time.


Serves Nashua and Hillsborough County.
