Trainings for Home and Community Based Services

Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy is proud to provide trainings for New Hampshire HCBS providers supporting individuals and families served through the division of Long Term Supports and Services. This can include case managers, services coordinators, clinicians, provider agencies and direct support professionals. Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy will be hosting classes in Diversity and Cultural Competency, Communication Devices and AAC Training, Trauma Informed Care, and DIR Floortime. These programs are offered at no cost to students and most are available remotely.  

In addition, Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy will be holding virtual case presentations 2-3 times per month to review cases of clients and families and review supports and resources as well as activities that may be helpful for the client. Providers, services coordinators, case managers or families are able to submit cases for review and cases will be reviewed by the facilitator with no PII/PHI disclosed. Participants will be encouraged to discuss ideas for activities, resources and supports in a group discussion facilitated by a therapist. The person submitting the cases will be provided with a list of the resources and ideas discussed as well as any additional resources added by our team of therapists that may be helpful for the team. To submit a case please email [email protected] with your name and email address, the client's age, location, diagnoses, interests and the challenges you would like discussed. The reviewing therapist will reach out to you with any additional questions as well as a schedule for available sessions that the case can be presented to ensure that you are able to attend the discussion.
